It is a universally accepted fact that education based on purely Islamic lines is indispensable for the predetermined progress, development and prosperity of Ummah laid down by the Almighty Allah and His blessed Messenger (S.A.W). Modern education has undoubtedly brought immense material gains to mankind but it has marred the moral aspect of humankind altogether, reduced man to mere an earning organism. We cannot underestimate the role of modern scientific education and its related effects in bringing ease and comfort to modern man, but at the same time, it neglects the moral and spiritual aspects of human personality, giving vent to cannibal and inhumane instincts, giving rise to chaos and confusion. The need of the hour is to chastise the modern educational viewpoint to get rid of the monstrous ideologies so that the unleashed collars may again be brought to the subservience of Allah - the Almighty, and the lost rapport between the creator and the creation may again be restored. All the Muslim scholars and think tanks are unanimous on this subject that the educational backwardness is the root of all ills and menaces of Muslim Ummah and the knowledge based on the Quranic principles is the only panacea to cure the diseased Ummah of its moral, ethical and spiritual bankruptcy and ailments.
